Reluctantly Forward

We listen to 3 top leaders speak tonight.  Shortest speech I ever heard.

What I understood from it, not necessarily what they said, but what I gathered from it is that:

Netanyahu wants Israel to have peace and he agrees to hit the Hamas; The Minister of Defense and the top notch leader of the IDF seem to say agree with each other, "we are going in and the Hamas will suffer great destruction".

Listening to the Newscaster expounding on it, they seem somewhat frustrated that a stronger stand was not taking place; Avigdor Liberman also insisted that Israel should react stronger and take over Gaza, while the left wing says that Israeli take-over 2 million Palestinians who suffer already from the hand of Hamas is not a good idea.

Meanwhile, 120 rockets fell on Israel from Eilat to Tel Aviv today alone; 90 of them after the one-sided cease fire, 11 were diverted, 1 killed a civilian who brought food to the border.

Willie and I have been praying some weird prayers this week.  Willie was directed to pray that the rockets will be diverted and fall in the Mediterranean water - and last night this is where they fell up here in the North; and I was directed to pray that the World Leaders who oppose and speak against Israel will be numb and their voices will fail them.  I am expecting much silence on the World Scene….

196th Day of Praise -
Thank You God for protecting your nation of Israel and for keeping it safe at a time of war. Thank you for directing our prayers as you direct the IDF in their efforts to overcome the Hamas.

Planning to sleep through the night anyway…
