One of the privileges of being a senior is that
your time is your own. I don't exchange
my time for money, I have no one telling me what to do or when, so I can decide
how to use my 24 hours each day.
Since we arrived here, I saw Willie sleeps each afternoon,
sometimes up to two hours, and I thought that he is getting used to this hot climate.
He sleeps less time in the afternoons now, but down he goes daily. So I learned to do the same.
I take power naps. Sometime between 12 and 4 pm I
lie on my bed and promptly fall into deep sleep for 20 to 30 minutes. I wake up
refreshed like a new day. I love those naps; I even stop fighting them.
Eighteenth day 2014 - thank you God for a
good power nap in the afternoon, it is so refreshing. The One who watches over Israel
never slumber nor sleep, so I can; Praise you God.
Refreshed
Orith
