Heir Apparent, First Born Son, The Crown Prince….all
the great titles one gets when one is born first among his brothers.
I gave birth to a heir and a spare…and the heir is
celebrating his 50th birthday today.
What?! When did my baby turned into an overcomer, a
man among his people?!
Fifty years ago, in Eilat Israel, at 8:10pm Eran was
born, the only birth in that hospital that day.
A real boy full of joy and mischief and daring spirit, who turned into a
loving son, a great husband and a giving father to be proud of; and I am very
proud of him.
Today, like during most other birthdays and family
events and holidays, I feel the distance more acute. I want to hug my boy who
turned 50 and to kiss him blessings for his next 50 years. In my spirit and in
my mind he is close by, and my memories are right on the inside of my eyelids
running a continual saga only I can see.
I love you my son, my first born, my crown prince. May God bless your days with laughter and your
nights with peaceful joy; may you live long and healthy life and will be
granted the strength and the privilege to dance in the weddings of your
grandchildren children.
91st Day of Thanks -
I thank you God for making me a mom and for giving me
the joy of seeing my first-born-son all grown up who is living and walking with
Your Favor on his life.
Longing mom,
Orith
