10 Commandments |
Finely, I completed the translation of a
12 weeks teaching material for
Pre-Teens from American to Hebrew.
I'm specifying American, because Canadian
English is very different and I'm familiar with it, while the idioms in
American are foreign to me, especially if they are from one of the southern
states.
Every community develop its own slangs and
idioms and when you want to translate teaching material it is hard to find
expressions for the community which will use it, especially when the community
you are translating for is as far as the other side of earth from the original
writings.
Did that make sense? Well, at any rate I'm glad I completed that
task.
127th Day of Praise -
Thank you God for giving me some wisdom on
how to translate teaching material about You for Jewish kids in Israel...and
thank you for helping me to make my writings understood, in both languages…
Shabbat Shalom,
Orith
