YO!
Beginning of the fifth month of 2014, already…
When I was a child, we used to have
parades with red flags in the city of Tel-Aviv for the May 1st
celebration. Labour Day, the Day of all
the Workers in the World, or some such thing it was called. I think I even carried one such flag,
once.
I knew it had to do with the Russian
Revolution; that many of the Jewish people around me escaped from Russia but
were Socialists, and that we are all little people with important jobs of
building a new country so we have a bunch of Kibbutzim and that's why we parade
on the first of May.
My knowledge did not grow much on that
subject, and if it did - I forgot all of it by now. Today, I did not see one red flag nor heard
of parades… at least not in Nahariya.
119th Day of Praise -
I thank You Mighty God for gathering Your
people from everywhere; for helping them to build a renewed land to live in,
and for using whatever ideology available that worked to bring them over here.
Thank You God for Israel.
Glad to be Home,
Orith
