Crazy Day today.
We filled out the police report for Sunday
bus incident by running to the health clinic, going to the office to make
copies, going to the main bus station for information that they did not give
us, back again to the police station…after some food shopping we went home.
At home, Willie's computer is causing
havoc, he will have to turn it off for now and see if he can do something with
it tomorrow. His little tablet is
working hard instead, but one cannot really work on it, it's like giving a
child an adult job. My Skype throw me
off so I cannot talk to anyone overseas nor see them, and my techie who knows how
to fix everything is not feeling well.
The heat eased off and it looks like rain
but in fact it is only wind with clouds.
Unlike North America, dark, full of moisture clouds don't always mean
rain, they do mean most of the time: sweat.
So I pray for a friend's pain in her body to
ease and for the computer to be fixed and for a few other things. But mostly I did nothing too constructive. So finely I did the most logical thing for me
to do today, I finished the Pentecost / Shavuot last piece Cheese Cake…yap.
156th Day of Praise -
Thank you God for crazy days and for
cheese cakes that make the evenings seem sane again….
Very Full,
Orith

I think the recipe for Cheesecake probably came with the giving of the Torah, don't you? I think this tradition of cheesecake for Shavaot is such a fine thing we have adopted it. When our small group met on Tues. evening I brought the cheesecake and we celebrated God and ALL His wonderful benefits.
