After almost a month of a fight, which is finely
declared as a war and not just an operation, the facts are more jumbled than
ever. I don't know all the facts. I know that Israel declared ceasefire about 6
or more times and each time Hamas broke it.
I know that the Hamas is trying to get rid of all Jews everywhere and
are using the Palestinians as shields so they can blame Israel for war crimes
when the latter have no choice but to blow up schools and UN buildings and
hospitals full of rockets and ammunition.
I know that Israel is mourning each one of its fallen but determine to
continue until the tunnels are all cleaned out and the threat is reduced.
I also know that as I write these words the situation
changed.
The ceasefire was kept; Hamas and Israeli leaders are
meeting in Egypt for negotiations and IDF left Gaza today; they announced that
the Hamas dangerous tunnels are demolished and the citizens on both sides of
the Gaza line can return to their homes.
Civilians on the Arab side have too much rubble to return to while
civilians on the Israeli side are too afraid to return back. So life is still unknown…
But our prayers that God will turn 9 B'Av from
mourning to joy have been answered.
Soldiers are returning home alive to their parents,
spouses, children, families. Tears of joys and kisses and hugs are exchanged
right now everywhere in Israel. Praise
the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and His messiah Yeshua.
217th Day of Praise -
I thank you God for turning our mourning into joy and
allowing us all to breath a bit easier for a short while. Thank You for keeping
our nation alive.
The Joy of the Lord is my Strength,
Orith
