Shabbat today; it is almost over now at 5:45 pm as the
sun lazily going down into the Mediterranean but the air is charged with anticipation
energy.
It rained today.
As always after a first rain, the air is fresher, cleaner and the temperatures
are down a bit. It is a nicer feeling,
just right for Shabbat. So we rested, and
Willie taught me that if I read my Bible out loud, I can get through it in
Hebrew without nodding off to sleep.
Yet, the air is charged with anticipation. I think it is the Israeli energy. A kind of spontaneous energetic behavior I've learned to expect,
from everyone around. It comes and goes at will and the bursts of laughter
that are often part of it are what give Israel its unique life style. I cannot explain it, so we just enjoy it as it
surface.
249th Day of Thanks -
Thank God for bursts of energy and fits of laughter
and happiness.
