All that's Left |
I am
getting all kinds of writings and talks via social media, emails, and phone
calls, about the end of time. I guess we
are getting closer; at least according to the Messianic and Christian
belief.
It
might also be a result of a recent pursuit by the film industry regarding the
mystery of the Saints Leaving Earth to start a life in Heaven. They all deal with various writings about a
time of hardship and adversity, wars and diseases, and with the recent
acceleration of beheading by Arab terrorist groups; it springs much talk
regarding such evils looming ahead of us.
Looking
at the Jewish calendar, we just started the year 5775. Our sages taught
us that the earth will survive 7,000 years.
2000 years before Torah was given, 2000 years of Torah knowledge, 2000
years of Messianic era, and then a Sabbath rest, the year 7000. So
roughly, since no one know the exact time for sure, we have another 225 years
to go before Messiah comes and unless He shorten the time for the sake of the
elect, we are born, give birth, live a life, then die.
Personally,
I have no intention of living another 200+ years. I feel that if some believe
that we'll go through tribulation, it could be that they hear of what other people
go through and themselves feeling guilty that they have it so good till now in
comparison, so they cover their butt by saying, "I'll be suffering
later". Whatever…
292nd
Day of Praise -
Yeshua
is Lord. He is my God, and my savior. In Him I trust. The rest is
peanuts...
Happy
to be back at the office,
Orith
