The bible commands us to rejoice in the law given to
us from God.
Until one sees the men circling the sanctuary in the synagogue
with the Torah Scroll lifted high up, over and over again; and the women
dancing in circles; and until one hears the music and the great singing of
everyone, one does not understand what rejoicing means.
It was a privilege to participate in the celebration of
the eighth day of Succoth today and rejoice in the Torah.
289th Day of Praise -
I thank you God that you allowed us one more year to
start the reading of the Torah from Genesis 1:1; thank you for a great
celebration.
