The weather turned stormy again.
All night the wind howled and vibrated the windows' frames. In the morning, the thunder bellowed roared and
the rain poured down in sheets.
Winter - and I feel it in my bones.
The weather change allowed me to get acquainted again with my
appendages. They cracked as I stretched, they ache as I walk down the stairs,
and they make their presence known…loud and clear. In order for us to be on speaking terms, I am
required to wrap them up.
In the depth of my drawers I found the old forgotten bandages. Slowly and methodically I wrapped them around
the joints, five warps in total. The
movement restriction and the warmth, calm down those aching bones.
344th Day of Praise -
I thank you God for old elastic bandages and for old fashion remedies. I
thank you God for healed and happy joints.
Slower than usual,
Orith
