THE JOURNEY - Day 13

FRIDAY – Day 13

13.10.2023

As the Iron Swords War continues into its second week, we are amazed at the types of encouragement that are pouring in.

People are asking for ways to donate to the soldiers and South citizens who suffered so much.

Some organized citizens buy, collect and deliver with their own cars to the bases the missing things that are needed, from food and water to clothing and AA batteries. Also, we are organizing local houses to open to the soldiers for showers and cloth-washing.

People groups all over the world pray for Israel. One evangelist from Holland called and left a message of his reading Psalm 27 specifically for Israel. So encouraging! Friends and family call us on WhatsApp encouraging us with their care.

The bases are being moved again at 06:00; we hear their heavy equipment on the main road beside our home, while the airplanes are flying low protecting them. But we are in a prayer meeting on Zoom and we are safe in His love and in His presence.

Praise God for the unity and love He bestowed on His people.

From the Khila Co-Founder, Peter. Arrived today:

Prayer Update October 13:
After the initial shock of the horrifying and brutal attack from Gaza and the failure of Israeli military intelligence to predict it, deep sorrow and a grim determination to win the struggle are beginning to set in. Dozens of funerals are being conducted every day across the land of Israel and the most difficult times in this war are still ahead. A ground invasion of Gaza to end the rule of Hamas there may begin soon. It will mean many more Israeli and Palestinian deaths. In the meantime, violent confrontations on the northern border with Lebanon are increasing. Alarm sirens are being heard on Mt. Carmel and in our northern city of Haifa. The situation could turn into another front in this war at any time.
Please pray for the political and military leaders of Israel to have wisdom and courage in this crisis to cooperate with each other and make good decisions for the future of the nation.
Please pray for divine protection upon all Israeli soldiers. There are several hundred believing Messianic young people in the army serving in various units. Already reports of young believing soldiers killed in action have been received.
Please pray for the safety and freedom of the 150 Israeli hostages taken into Gaza.
Please pray for the people of Israel and the people of Gaza for a revelation of Yeshua, the Prince of Peace.
Please pray that those leaders in Gaza, Lebanon, Iran, Syria, and elsewhere, who dream about the annihilation of Israel, will have their plans disrupted and their dark purposes confounded by the Lord.
Please pray for the release of angelic protection over our borders, sons and daughters, homes and congregations.

With love and gratitude for your prayers in Yeshua,
Peter on behalf of The Kehilat HaCarmel Leadership Team
