They sort of agreed to let 50 go for 4 days of no fighting; and, what about the other 250?
Then I see in my mind eyes the soldiers going up and down the long row of North Gazans going down south, calling out to the children “Do you speak Hebrew?” trying to find anyone who is hostage among them. But then there are a few American children among the hostages and I think that maybe they need to call out in English to the kids, knowing that the American Jews in Israel speak English to their kids teaching them to be bilingual. And I keep praying with my heart breaking, “God, please have a miracle, please just transport them all home to Israel. Please send your angels to carry each of them out of there and into Israel”. And in my mind eye, I am kneeling down with my arms open ready to hug each and every one who is coming back alive to Israel. And the password between us, so we know we are friends and not the enemy, is Yeshua and the answer password is Emmanuel.
And God reminds me of His Word and ensures me that He is in control and not to fear,
(Isaiah 49:16)
See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands;
Your walls are continually before Me.
I get up from my bed and the tears cannot reach my eyes.
I read Isaiah 41 and then I read Isaiah 49.
And though my heart is heavy, I believe that God will prevail.
