Sluggish, cloudy, rainy, gray, people walking with their heads down. Quiet. On the bus, people are snoozing in their seats, catching a shut eye - that never happened in a full-of-discussion Israeli bus before!
We needed a break today, but we didn't go to a coffee house, just the volunteer spots.
The RedAlet showed rockets at Kiryat Shmona, Matat, and Margaliot in the north and in Sa'ad and Kfar Azza in the Gaza envelope.
We eat lots of carbs, thinking of cooking some soups and freezing them, it's the right season. And just reading books, praying and communicating on the telephone.
Definitely a blah day.
The upper waterfalls are flowing over their banks, the Hermon is covered with snow, and the sites are still close to ski and walks and tours, due to the heat at the war zone.
e have now over 650 dead soldiers, men and women. 12,500 reported wounded with handicapped conditions that will be part of these young people's lives forever. Others are wounded, come home to get patched and return to the fighting fields. We know of some in each category. We know the families. Heartbreaking.
Still waiting for and praying for the release of the hostages. Keep praying over them:
Matthew 10:26, Therefore do not fear them. For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known.
Please, God. Reveal where they are, let the army and/or Your angels find them and bring them home. Amen.
