WEDNESDAY, War 103, SWORDS OF IRON. 17.1.23

-  What are you thinking dear husband?

- Nothing. My brain is empty.

Not a joke. I feel the same. As if whatever was in my brain, is gone.

Sounds of rockets and of the iron dome meeting them in the air is on again. Not a barrage as it was, but enough to know that rockets are shelled at us from Lebanon.

2 young men came to fix our a/c. We did not have heat. Since it is over 15 years old, I thought we'd need to buy a new one. But Willie chose to call our experts and see what they can do before we replace it. He was right. They fixed it. Now, it will give us cold air in the summer as well as heating the place now, and we paid 10th of the expense of a new one. What a treasure to have such good old-fashioned workmanship.

One of them told me about his son. His son bought tickets for the Nova Dance on October 7th for himself and a group of his friends. When the terrorists arrived, they ran. They ran so fast hiding the dessert brush they all came out safe. Their truck was burned totally. Gave

me chills when I heard him speak. We are praising God for his mercy to these young people.

Our friend has a birthday tomorrow. I decided to make for him marshmallow-popcorn-smarties balls. Ugly green, but that can be OK; gooey and sticky to everything it touches, but oh so Sweet; put it between two sheets of baking paper, in the fridge, so it will be cold enough to get off the paper. We'll see how it'll work in the morning.

We connected with family in Canada. The BC group is snowbound and is working from home. The AB group took off to Mexico and is keeping warm. The NB group is a bit of a shock to find cancer of the kidney in one person. So we are praying for our family as well.

Only God can right the wrongs heal the sick and unite a family and a nation. Thank you, God.
