Raining
today. Very cold so the higher elevations might have snow and hail. I
am staying at home with all the a/c heating the apartment, thank God
for the roof over our heads.Rockets from Lebanon
I've had time to listen to videos and read write-ups and came to the conclusion that the reports right from the massacre on October 7 were only the beginning of the horrors being experienced in the fields.
In all of human history of wars, there has never been such a horrible war.
We knew that there was a city underground in Gaza. We knew that the massive maze of tunnels was difficult to conquer. We didn't know that to overcome the massive structures of stone and concretes, we would need new, never been created, devices. We didn't know that there was not enough air to breathe for the density of soldiers needed underground.
Trucks can drive easily through some of the tunnels. As our soldiers slowly move through them on foot, they find intelligence information about the plans the Hamas had in preparations to spread their horrors across Israel and Europe. A picture of the Eiffel Tower with an identified minaret on top and prayer mats at the entrance shows their plans to conquer Europe. Weapons of every kind including rockets were also found, as well as areas of weapon construction from “scratch”. Suitcases filled with thousands of shekels inside the homes of leading members of the cult were underneath the city. Signs that our abductees were held at some of these tunnels and some were in cages, were clear and the soldiers needed to slowly clear each tunnel.
A new kind of communication also breathing devices need to be created so the IDF can maneuver the concrete maze. Another new apparatus is needed to bring salt water into the cleared areas to seal it from future usage. While Israel is known for its innovative abilities, these necessities need time to create.
Checking for civilians who are being used by Hamas as protective human shields, inside the tunnels, and for the Israelis hostages also takes time. This war can easily last a year unless God intervenes.
The soldiers on the ground send messages daily asking the nation to back them up and not to stop the war. They are willing to continue until all the hostages are free and Hamas is no longer able to terrorize the nation. They are willing to die for this victory that will free Israel from the slaughtered actions that we experienced for too many years.
You don't need to be a Jew or an Israeli to understand the issues. You need to be a human being who seeks peace and freedom for himself and his family. If your family was threatened by such terrors, what would you do?
I pray for God's mercy and love, wisdom, strength and health over our nation.
Moses' song can be found in Exodus 15. Here are the first 3 verses.
Then Moses and the children of Israel sang this song to the Lord, and spoke, saying:
“I
will sing to the Lord, for He has triumphed gloriously!
The horse
and its rider He has thrown into the sea!
The Lord is my strength
and song,
And He has become my salvation;
He is my God, and I
will praise Him;
My father’s God, and I will exalt Him.
The
Lord is a man of war; The Lord is His name.

SEA-SONG
“The horse and its rider,
He has thrown into the sea”1
and we wander into the wilderness,
listening to a song, written by God,
so His people will sing praise, forever.
In the rhythm of His verse
time is counted in beats of tambourines,
and the people will sing, sing to God.
It is good, fitting, it is pleasant.
When talking fails to lift,
Songs still carry our hearts,
our spirits upward, to the Lord
our of the wilderness, saved from the sea.
