Willie bussed to the Khila after he hung the laundry in the sun on the lines, and I stayed at home doing what I do best, having a quiet time at home alone.
The
RedAlert app did not stay quiet, but the sirens screeched from 11:23
on until almost 15:00. A few areas as close as the surrounding
settlements of Hanita and Lehman and as far as Avivim, experienced
rocket fire and hostile aircraft intrusions. Nahariya was as quiet as
it had been till now.
I am positive that even though our young people are fighting on the Lebanon side and making sure Hezbala is not advancing from Syria, and although the threats are continuing from every direction, and even though the heavy fighting continues in Gaza, we will not have a major war on the North Border. God hears prayers, and we have been praying for peace in this area for a very long time.
Shabbat Shalom and may all of us have a great week ahead.
