SWORDS OF IRON WAR. Day 134

SATURDAY 17.2.2024

Rain Storms outside my windows. Airplanes are on their way north of us. Because of rockets' fire, the sirens are on in the south in the West Lachish area – By Ashkelon.

Willie went to the Khila today, so I'm alone trying to thank God for His healing and to have patience waiting for the results of his miracle to appear. I can enlarge the letters on my computer so I can type and I can read. Not clearly, but read for a short few minutes, before the sight becomes blurry again. My mother, who was a poet, became blind in the last 10 years of her life. I haven't realized how bad that was for her. I am unable to read my bible; I don't even know how to study it without sight. I thank God that He gave Willie to me. Willie is doing most of the housework and the shopping; but, most important he reads the bible out loud. He did that for me this morning before he left.

My world became very small, right around me. I know we are at war but as long as it is quiet in my area, I am only aware of what the siren application is telling me. I have to make an effort and search for more when the blur is better.

It is a Shabbat, I'll be looking at the service online, praising God and resting. Hope to write more tomorrow.

Shabbat Shalom.
