Evening – it is around 21:00 now. Willie and I completed our 2-sides puzzle; Rested, ate, and watched the first 4 episodes of “The Chosen” on Netflix.
Terrorists Infiltrated in Hebron 7 hours ago. Rockets fired in Kiryat Shmona at the same time. The Chief of the General Staff and other generals met in the region of Yehuda and Shomron and evaluated the forces' readiness for Ramadan.
Throughout the day, instances of projectile launches originating from Lebanese territory into Israeli areas were identified. In response, the IDF promptly engaged the sources of the aggression with precision artillery strikes.
While IDF is ready to respond to attacks, the generals asked our people to respect the prayers and fasting of the Muslim population.
It seems like such double standards! We were attacked while praying and fasting in the Yum Kippur War – no one gave us time to prepare for the attack from Egypt. It was 50 years ago and that horrible war still has memorials of mourning over the dead. On October 7, on the last day of Succot, during our celebration of the Tora, they terrorized the civilians, killing maiming, abducting – in their our own homes, on our own land!... did we receive respect for our women, children, old ones, or for our prayers and celebration? No, we didn't.
And the world is calling for us to stop a war we did not start? Why? All we receive from the rest of humanity is hatred and antisemitism.
Israel continues to protect itself. Our borders are filled with our young people, men and women. We are staying – World, we are not stopping and not leaving. See us win. Israel will be victorious. God will free our hostages and protect our people.
We fasted and we prayed and the best among us gave their lives.
Isaia
58 says: Is
this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of
wickedness,
To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go
free, And that you break every yoke?
AM ISRAEL CHAI.
