How Great is our God!
Summer Clock is on. Prayer time is still at 06:00 but it feels like 05:00.
The sun was not notified of the time change, it still hides behind the gray sky.
Last night, the barrage of rockets stopped around 18:00 and we went to sleep peacefully.
This weekend is a religious / spiritual battle time.
Friday, today, is the third Friday of Ramadan. So far the Ramadan Muslims gathering was peaceful, for the first time in years.
Shabbat, tomorrow, is Shabbat Para (Red Heifer), for the Jews. A special added reading of the Law (Tora) regarding cleansing with ashes of the red heifer. Tradition says that since there is no Temple, reading the Tora section (Deuteronomy 19:1-22) before Passover, will cleanse a person from sins.
Sunday, is Easter, or Resurrection Day, celebrated by Christians after a Holy Week, the week leading to the crucifixion. Jerusalem's churches were usually filled with Pilgrims from everywhere. This year they will be much quieter.
A weekend which traditionally experienced increased attacks on the Jewish population by Christians and Muslims alike for many generations in all the world countries.
The attacks this year, even though they are expected might be deterred by the war. If they occurred in Israel, they would be met with the resistance of IDF.
Hate and violence became an expected part of our existence; not a good thing. We can tell ahead of time when it will increase. Our army had an unexpected drill fully armed in the North today. They are being prepared for this weekend and for another major assault. Thank God His angels are surrounding our young people. God almighty is still our best protection.
“Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.” ” (Luke 21:28)
Yet I ask, please hasten the day of your return Mashiach Yeshua.
