Willie writes, Today's Daily Manna
|
I found it fascinating that God talks to each person individually. While I see more of the physical world around me Willie focuses on God Himself. Willie started a new teaching on his “Daily Manna”: Abiding in God's Love. I felt that I needed to share it today. I am open to God's direction regarding sharing Willie's writing daily during March.
Israel's North front is heated up; there are talks about 6 weeks cease-fire, which causes me to feel very uncomfortable and not trusting the nations around us. From past experience, we know that each time we have a time of ceasefire, it allows the enemies to strengthen their positions, to have more incoming ammunition and drugs into their armies and to find ways to attack again. Seldom do we get our people back alive, if at all. Most of the time, the attacks on Israel continue without IDF returning fire, so it is one-sided with the UN and the rest of the world allowing these actions and pressuring Israel to withdraw. I don't want to see another such cease-fire, especially since this time it will only allow it in Gaza while the North stays exposed to the Hezbollah attacks.
One of the hostages is a 41-year-old man from Nahariya who was working at the Nova party as a guard. His family was downtown Nahariya showing a 7-minute video of October 7 terrors. They gathered on the main street collecting offerings toward sending the film abroad and increasing the pressure and public opinion to release the hostages. The nervous energy was at a pick at that gathering. We stopped to talk and to encourage and show them our gold pin and iron medallion – signs that we were praying and participating in their efforts to bring the hostages back home.
While the family gathered on the main street, a few blocks west toward the beach, two army jeeps were on the street. These vehicles collect the wounded and the bodies from the fields. Three men and one woman soldiers, covered with heavy clothing and equipment were manning the vehicles. They were surrounded by 13-15-year-old admiring girls. We did not approach them instead we blessed them from afar.Today, we are taking the train to our friends for the bi-monthly meeting of prayers. We are encouraged by knowing that you, around the globe, are joining us in prayers for Israel. We are praying for the hostages to return alive; for the salvation in Israel and the region, and for peace to reign again.
Blessings.
