Tension is mounting. Prayers intensifying.
IDF spokesman specifically said not to buy into the panic – no generators, no extra cash to take out, nothing to rush about for. We've had training, we received a huge first aid kit in a red backpack, our safe spaces updated professionally, we have plenty of water bottles, and 4-5 weeks of medications. Personally, I would love to have some training in Krav-Maga for the elderly, but there are no classes in Nahariya. Even if I had those classes, it might help my self-assurance while I walk in the streets but it will not help against rockets, or terrorists slaughtering.
So, keep in shape! Go for walks. Eat healthy. Take vitamins. Pray. Praise. Pray.
While in prayers, I heard a few times, “God dwells in the praises of His people”.
Meaning: when you are in an airport, find a public piano and start singing praises.
Willie & I prayed and praised Him. We asked for safety in all the airports, especially in Israel; safety in the air for the crew and the travellers; and safety on the ground while driving home. We “hi-jacked” the airplanes in His name and sent hosts of angles to protect our friends and their children on these flights.
We praised God for giving us the prayers and the privilege to pray to Him to know Him and to believe that He answers prayers. We also asked that He will bounced our friends up to first class so they could stretch and rest on the way home. Many of these flights take long hours and are physically taxing. I am not sure how the crew members can handle it daily.
(Psalm 22:3-5)
But
You are holy, Enthroned in the praises of Israel.
Our
fathers trusted in You; They trusted, and You delivered them.
They
cried to You, and were delivered; They trusted in You, and were not
ashamed.
