Saturday. 232 days to “Swords of Iron War”.

25.05.2024. Nahariya, Israel. 32 days to the count of the OMER.

We had a great time at the Khila today.

Friends gave us the African Violet plant for our anniversary, we have not seen one of those for a few years; I hope it will stay alive.

The English-speaking group had a luncheon and it was a delight to sit and converse with people from babies of 2 months old to people in their 90th. Delightful afternoon.

The abducted are being returned home 3 or 4 a day, in body bags. This is very heavy on everyone's hearts and, personally, I see no reason for any agreement, the war has to achieve a true safety in the region for Israel. I was reminded that Sinwar was a prisoner in Israel, for murdering our people and he was released among the1000+ during an agreement for Gilad Shalit. As expected, once released they continued to murder. A new deal will only give Hamas a similar opportunity to strengthen their ranks.

All I can do over here is pray. I find it very taxing. It is a spiritual fight but the body gets tired.

I decided - again -  to strengthen my physical body so my spiritual fight would also be stronger. I need to stay healthy.

From tomorrow, I will start – again – to clean this old body of poisons so the spiritual, emotional, and mental faculties will function at a higher capacity. I'll try to record the journey without being too boring. Some items have to become a regular behaviour, and your prayers for me to develop these habits are appreciated.

  • drinking 3 litres of water a day

  • stop eating / closing the kitchen at 19:00

  • milk products and simple carbohydrates avoidance

  • remember the smart plate

  • avoid grazing during the day

  • keep it up for 5 complete days for starters

Something should 'stick' and since I'm not helping in the physical sense to the war efforts, it seems that getting stronger and not being a burden on a traumatized society is the best I can do while praying for Israel and for peace.

Matthew 19:26 “...“With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
