Why
do the nations rage, And the people plot a vain thing?

The
kings of the earth set themselves,
And the rulers take counsel
together,
Against the Lord
and
against His Anointed, saying,

“Let
us break Their bonds in pieces
And cast away Their cords from us.”

He
who sits in the heavens shall laugh;
The Lord shall hold them in
derision.
5 Then
He shall speak to them in His wrath,
And distress them in His deep
displeasure:
6 “Yet
I have set My King on My holy hill of Zion.”

“I
will declare the decree:
The Lord
has
said to Me, ‘You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You.

Ask
of Me, and I will give You
The nations for Your inheritance,
And
the ends of the earth for Your possession.

You
shall break them with a rod of iron;
You shall dash them to pieces
like a potter’s vessel.’ ”

Now, therefore, be wise, O kings;
Be instructed, you judges of the
earth.

the Lord

fear, and rejoice with trembling.

the Son, lest He be angry,

Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.
Our corporate prayers today included blessings for those sitting in tents today.
Weird? Not really.
During the desert walk, Israel spends 40 years in tents.
Every Succot (feast of the booths) we celebrate the memory of the dessert by building special tents and sitting in them.
The municipality of Nahariya provides large blue tents for the week of mourning so people who visit the family of the deceased have a place to gather.
Around the world, circuses get special permits to build tents for the duration of their stay.
The same goes for tents during evangelical meetings.
At times the army uses tents during war.
I am sure that God directed our prayers, as He does daily.
He Directed Balaam prayers: Numbers 24:5
מַה-טֹּבוּ אֹהָלֶיךָ, יַעֲקֹב; מִשְׁכְּנֹתֶיךָ, יִשְׂרָאֵל
How fair are your tents, O Jacob, Your Dwellings, O Israel.
