NAHARIYA,
ISRAEL. WEDNESDAY. 25.9.2024Lemon Tree
Today, we took the train to a city not far from here for a long-awaited prayer meeting and a visit with good friends who went overseas for a family visit. It takes only 19 minutes by train but the entire trip is tiring nonetheless.
While we were with our friends, the Hezbollah fired rockets for the first time in History on Tel Aviv; and additional rockets at Kibbutz Saar near Nahariya. Our city heard sirens and some people were wounded in the kibbutz. Willie and I are fine, we were in transit away from here.
The Northern border is not that fine. It sees the escalation of the maneuvers and the Northern Arrows see the Northern hospitals as well as the center of Israel, preparing for an influx of wounded.
That is not good news. But God is our Iron Dome:
(Roman 15:13)
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
We are retiring early tonight. Nasrallah woke us up at 4 am, we need to try and catch on some sleep.
