Salute' to Vera

We went by bus to Acco to Bituach Leumi's yearly fun time and said goodbye to Vera Shalom, the boss of the volunteers all over Israel. At one point there were 5,100 volunteers and she was their “head”. She is retiring. We love her very much and It feels as if no one will be able to fill in her shoes. She will be greatly missed.

Even though we left our positions, Willie and I were both invited. The office staff refused to accept our leaving, “You'll be back” they said,” it is only for a short time”. I'm glad we went, it was fun to meet everyone again and also to meet some new people. It was good.

Drink H2O

It is getting warm over here.

In the last few years, I learned to drink water. Now, I am all set up. Each day I start with 6 – 500 ml bottles filled and by the end of the day, I refill them all with filtered water. This way I drink 3 liters of water a day. It is essential. Not only does it help to replenish our strength but also it calms our anxiety – absolutely a matter of life and death. So drink your water daily people.

Free The Abducted. 

We are looking forward and we are praying for Passover. We need to have the time to be close to God and to each other. We pray that we'll be able to come together and that the Home Office will not feel that the enemy is too strong for us to gather in one place since many are trying to celebrate it together. We ask that God will save the abducted hostages to come out free of captivity and free from any trauma, emotional – spiritual – physical. We ask God that He will bring His people home.

(Ex. 12:14) "This day shall be for you a memorial day,

and you shall keep it as a feast to the LORD;

throughout your generations, as a statute forever, you shall keep it as a feast.
