You
know the physicians' pat answer, "stay in bed, take two aspirin and call
me in the morning"? It's the first
time in my life that I was truly able to do that.
Every
person I know had a head cold and everyone does not follow this order, including
the medical staff. They continue with
work and doing other daily activities; the colds linger for two weeks with
medication or 14 days without, the head is stuffed and the horrid feelings just
don't go away.
This
week, since I was able to stay put, it is gone in a few days. I spend most of
this week in bed. I did not have to get dressed or go to work or get the family
ready for school or work - I was free to follow the doctors' orders.
So
today I do the chores around the house, feeling refreshed and well; I might
even consider getting out of the PJ and into some clothes.
30th
Day of Thanks - thank you God for the healing time that the doctor ordered;
time that allowed me to rest and to get over my head cold.
Healed
and ready to conquer whatever is next,
Orith
