Taxi Drivers

What a blessing! No matter the weather, in front of the house sits the driver; waiting patiently for us to get down the stairs and enter his vehicle.

Every Friday night like a clock work he is there, at 4:15 pm and then after the Friday meeting at 7 pm.  For us, it is usually the same guy. Over the months of him being our chauffer, we met his wife by now and his children. He had been driving us safely to and from various locations in Northern Israel and we became friends. When he is unable to come, he arranges for someone else as reliable.  His taxi is weekly being serviced and is kept clean and safe for us.

Tonight, He drove us again. His wife is ill this week and so are the kids, some flu and whizzing sounds and he is worried.  He apologized for her not meeting us tonight in a round - about way, "my wife said hi".  He knows we'll pray for his family health.

Tenth day, 2014 - Thank you God for Taxi Drivers. Thank You for their dedication to safety of car and passengers, and thank You for keeping them and their families safe and healthy
