Windy Shabbat

Shabbat, the wind is blowing dust into the open window again and tarring the pictures off the walls.

Sky is full of dust.  Birds are quiet.  My cat was softly mewing to open the window but when I did, she smelled the air and run undercover. Willie is already undercover. He will emerge to have a bite to eat and go back to bed again.

It's Dusty Out, Mom
We had a busy night.  That friend I was hoping to see did not come on a tour group as I thought, but came by herself and was mistakenly interrogated rudely by the Ministry of Interior Workers at the airport.

While she was going through the airport interrogation, we received an urgent email on her behalf. So we tried to locate others to help her with her ordeal. We were up praying and writing.  After a time, a supervisor arrived and realized the mistake and she was freed to go. By that time she was exhausted, but was met by friends who looked well after her needs. I might get to see her next Saturday.

For now, Willie is sleeping and I am 'reporting'.

67 Thankful Days-
I thank you God for helping our friend to come into the country and find a shelter and new friends. We trust that we will be able to meet with her and with others by next Shabbat on the mountain top.

Accepting the peace of the Shabbat,
