This morning I returned to the office
where I volunteer.
How was your Passover? Was the greeting
everyone asked and the most common answers surprised me, "it was good and
it is good that it was".
Apparently, most people around me needed
to return to their daily routine; the getting up on time, the rush toward the
known, to be where and when the activities are familiar and recognizable. They
had a good time, but a week was enough.
It never occurred to me before, that the
feeling of, 'good to be home' after a holiday is universal. For years I
believed that everyone wants to be financially independent and on nonstop
holidays tripping all over creation. Not.
I guess work is good for you after all …
110th day of Praise -
Thank you God for giving me a place to
volunteer and to go to; Thank You for returning daily routine to my life
Calculating when is the next holiday…

That's funny. Glad for the routine, but calculating for when is the next holiday so you can be out of routine!
Great article. Don't get too used to routine though. ..this world is just a "temporary assignment".
