Mud, Plants and Laughter

Do you recall hearing "don't trek mud through the house! I just cleaned it!"?

I heard it this morning…almost.

What happened was that I decided to beautify the garden beds downstairs. I went down and clean it off cigarettes' butts and other debris and dug a hole in an empty spot where I planted one of my strong plants which grows all over Israel.

After watering it and a few other dying rose bushes, I took the bag with collected mess to the big garbage bin, went up the 64 stairs.  Nicely, I cleaned the gloves and hang them; nicely I took my sneakers off and put them away, and then washed my hands.

About an hour later, here comes Willie with a broom sweeping the carpet in the study. "Someone", he says, "trek mud all over the house and did not clean her sneakers"….

Opps, it did not even occur to me that I should….
