Three Types of Wars

This week, I learned that there are three types of warfare:

1. Death is the victory - the more dead the greater the victory, so all civilians are put in front of the fighters as a shield for the soldiers to continue to fight. 

2. Life is the victory - the more lives saved the grater the victory, so the army top commanders chiefs and officers are at the front , then the soldiers, and the civilians are protected as much as possible.

These two are seen here for over 21 days and it is the war between the Hamas fighters and the Israeli Army.

But there is one more type of war.

3. The spiritual warfare behind the physical one.  This warfare is done by prayer.  We see this war during Joshua time when he and his army went against the enemy on the battle field, but Moses set on the mountain near by holding his hands up, as long as his hands were up to God, Israeli won and if his hands fell down, Israeli lost.

Behind each physical war there is a spiritual one. 

In Exodus 32: 26 Moses called for the first time, "…  Who is on the LORD'S side? Let him come unto me…" Although it was a physical separation and it manifested in a physical battle between the tribes, in fact, it was God's spiritual battle.

I thank You Lord for providing a way to join your battle by praying for your side to have the victory.  I thank You God for your mercy on all of your children from every tribe and nation.
