For the past week I've been thinking about a young
woman that I had met a few years back in an office where I volunteered to do
some paper work. I haven't seen here for
at least two years, so I was surprised that I thought of her. During the last two - three days, I thought
of her often enough that I began to pray for her safety and her
well-being.
Today, a mutual acquainted called. "Did you hear from ---
lately?" I asked. The lady did not, but I told her that she was
so heavy on my mind that I've been praying about her health. We talked of other things and hung up.
Three or four minutes later she called me back,
"--- was in a car accident, she is in therapy right now". She will let me know her condition later
today.
Wow. How great
is God's love for us. That He brings to
mind a person we are only acquainted with and did not even see for over two
years, just so we can pray on their behalf.
He wants to make sure that we are involved in their well-being and
encourages us to pray.
I am positive that no matter what she had experienced,
she will heal well.
237th Day of Praise -
Thank you God for loving us so much that you call on
others to pray for our well-being when we need it, regardless of how involved
these people are in our lives. You are
involved, you care, you know when we need prayers, and you arrange for it all; Thank
you God for your unending love.
Amazed,
Orith
