I am in the office this morning and
everyone comes in and asks if we know exactly where the rockets fell last
night.
"No, but I heard one", I
said. I know I did, I know I woke up
unexpectedly from the sound last night.
No sirens in Nahariya, and a friend explained that they cannot tell us
the specific place so the shooters don't know where it is and shoot again with better
direction. Does it matter? They just shoot.
But here I am in the office, feeling cool
with the A/C on and safe. I was recoding as if nothing has changed, at the
computer…and found myself humming, then singing, then praising God.
The supervisor came in and stopped. She stood there looking at me and
listen. A smile covered her face and she
commented, "How peaceful you are".
Yap, this is where we decide to live our
lives; this is home, and whatever comes, we'll continue to live here and to
praise God.
236th Day of Praise -
I thank God for music, for peace, for
calm. "For I know whom I have believed, and am
persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against
that day"
Cool, calm, collected…
