I mailed a holiday greeting
to everyone on my email list. Not everyone wrote back, yet; but, some of the
responses that arrived made me wonder. Thus, I decided to clarify a thing or two…

I am not religious;
although some people might think that I am. I don't believe in do's
or don'ts of man; although I avoid now-a-day smoking and drinking alcohol and
eating pork. I don't follow gods of this world; although I like
having more rather than less; comfort rather than discomfort, and order rather
than ciaos.
I follow the God of
Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and His Messiah Yeshua. And I am full of
joy that comes from my relationship with Him.
Therefore, I celebrate each
and every holiday that includes on its menu - chocolate!

Thank you God for your days
of joy; for festive times that give reasons to connect with people far and
near; for our Heir sharing his photography with us last night through Skype;
and for…Chocolate.
