SWORDS OF IRON WAR - 44th Day

 SUNDAY                                                       19.11.2023

We woke up to the sound of thunder, lightning and a downpour of the first major rain in the North this year – “the Yore`”.

Misty scurried under the bed to her safe spot while we closed all the windows. We praised God for the rain and prayed that He would keep our IDF and the 300+ abducted, dry, healthy and able to maneuver the mud on their way home. We also pray for the soldiers' physical, emotional and spiritual strength. They are getting tired and find it hard to keep carrying so much of heavy things on their bodies while not finding a comfortable place to sleep long enough to refresh. God, please rejuvenate our IDF on land, sea and air. Amen.

Willie went downtown for his walk in the rain. I am at home praying and studying in comfort.

By evening, both our sons called, Praise God. It is so encouraging to hear from them. 

Afterwards, I saw a newsreel that showed the rain storm in Gaza this morning. The reporter said that before the IDF had a chance to get into the tunnels, God flooded them and caused the Hamas to run out into the soldiers' hands. I am praying that if the stolen are in these tunnels they will have a way to run out and then be taken home. We are afraid to lose hope or to think they are all dead.

God, please send them home now alive and well. Please protect them, from the youngest to the oldest and also all the soldiers, on all fronts, as well.
