SWORDS OF IRON WAR – NOVEMBER

SUNDAY - Day 30 of the war                      05.11.2023

Usually, our Sundays being the first day of the week in Israel, are busy. Not today, we had a peaceful and quiet day. All Day Long.

Summer continues at 30 degrees Celsius in Nahariya, and when Willie returned from shopping, he did not break a sweat. A perfect summer day in November. Winter has not arrived yet in our region, late this year. But I thank God the rain held back, IDF needs the dry ground right now.

Angry Sunset - North America

A perfect day of peace until 15:47.

I just finished a conversation with my firstborn son when the shelling sounds began. Daily around 16:00, like a clockwork. Thank God it did not last long and by the time my last-born son called, it was over.

Willie and I smiled at each other – always thankful to hear from our boys. Then he started to read Mark 13 out loud:

Jesus said to them: Watch out that no one deceives you.

We are concerned about our sons and their families overseas. Too many uprisings against Jews are all over Europe and in other parts of the world. There are 1.8 billion Muslims, 24% of the world population and only 16.1 million Jews, 0.2% of the world population, yet the antisemitic shouts of the demonstrations proclaim that the Jews controlling the entire world. How logical is that?

The part that upset me even more was the reports that came from New York. I read a news article today which says that the Jews in NY fight other Jews regarding “free Palestine” and “get out of Gaza”. The first quote does not exist, and the second is a result of the massacre of October 7.

Mark 13 continues:

Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child. Children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death. Everyone will hate you because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.”

Families turn against each other instead of recognizing their common enemy.

If you are a friend, stand up and tell us. We need to know that, it encourages us to continue. If you are a believer, remember that Jesus whom you profess to believe in is a Jew. Keep praying for His people, we need that backup.

If you are a Jew, remind others and yourself that Israel is the only safe place for us even during war.
