Angels flew North |
17 days to the OMER count.
The airplanes did not stop flying all night. I went to bed at 22:00 but heard them overhead until 4:00. I was praying for the pilots and the teams all night asking God to bring them back safely and in one piece as they went out.
Many of our Khila young men and women are serving in Gaza and the North Border. Parents and grandparents are in constant prayers for the IDF safety, on earth, air and the sea. We know they are in danger of their lives and their limbs. Only God can keep them safe.
The heat today climbed to 34 C so far and it is 12 noon now. Willie and I walked over 5,000 steps, needing last-minute shopping done, and slowed down as the sidewalks stretched in front of us. Buses were slow in coming. We are doing the Friday regular errands and even the washing machine seems slow.
Our neighbour is functioning with pain all over her body, but she slowly moving in her kitchen preparing for Shabbat. That is (Shabbat preparations) just so ingrained in us and it will never change.
Drinking gallons of fresh and cool water – wishing us all Shabbat Shalom.
