MONDAY. 241/ Swords of Iron War. 41/Omer

3.6.24. Nahariya, Israel.

(Psalm 105:13-15)

When they went from one nation to another,
From one kingdom to another people,
He permitted no one to do them wrong;
Yes, He rebuked kings for their sakes,
Saying, “Do not touch My anointed ones,
And do My prophets no harm.”

I pray that God continues to protect His anointed ones and not allow harm to be done to them.

15:00 yesterday I came out of the eye surgeon's office after a shot in my eye. The sirens sent the entire hospital, staff, patients, visitors, and children to the protective rooms.

Some people were in fear and/or shock. Willie and I did what we could to calm them down. We arrived home by bus, and the sirens started again. We heard the bombs and the Iron Dome hitting the rockets. Not a happy sound, but, loud enough for people to think the rockets were right outside the windows.

There was an attack on Nahariya – but the noise was worse than the damage. A fire, a siren, a building destroyed at the city's edge near the beach. We are OK today, and the reports of the damage are conflicting.

What got to me was the notification that the UN went into the Israeli bases in the north, counted the ammunition and such, and reported to Hezbollah what they found. Willie wondered how they got in, I have no idea. They should be shot.

While the Americans talked of a ceasefire, there was an increase in suicide hostile air crafts activity. Also, the IDF is calling back to Gaza medics on reserve – does not sound like a ceasefire to me.

The heat increases as well, it is 30c right now and very humid, which causes an increase in breathing difficulties. It must be harder to maneuver on the front line.

We went shopping today after my doctor's visit and Willie's volunteering in the hospital. People are shopping everywhere and the buses are full. We'll see by 16:00 if there is more hostile activity from the North Border. Meanwhile, we pray for God to rebuke the enemies and make sure that Israel doesn't come to harm.
