SWORDS OF IRON & NORTHERN ARROWS (Day 400; 2nd year)

N
AHARIYA, ISRAEL. Saturday 09.11.24

Shabbat Shalom.

Look at your life through heaven's eyes.

We were not surprised by what occurred in Amsterdam this week; we were only saddened. It hurts to the core.

Since we moved to Israel, God has given us a new perspective and a global understanding of actions. We look at different occurrences around the world, and we understand the thoughts and directions of the elected leadership and the motivations of the people.

I've never seen these when we lived in Canada. I did not feel the underneath currencies of evil. When people pointed to me wrongdoings of others around me, I could not accept it. I did not feel direct antisemitic behaviour, and when I did, these were only done by one or two people that I was able to eliminate from my acquaintances.

But from my home in Israel, I can see a clear picture of the lawlessness, racism and other hateful actions everywhere on earth. It is like having a magnified glass that points out to us what is being done inside nations and countries by citizens toward one another, against their own neighbours, not all actions are specifically against Jews.

We know, we notice, we recognize that for Jews around the globe, the time of the fishers is over, it is now the time of the hunters.

(Jeremiah 16:16) “Behold, I will send for many fishermen,” says the Lord, “and they shall fish them, and afterwards I will send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain and every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks.”

Darkness is spreading more than ever over the earth. It starts with spiritual darkness, but soon enough, it catches the physical realm with hateful attacks by one group against another. No reason makes sense; it is pure hate. There is only one source of this evil.

We are learning in Israel to turn our hearts and our eyes toward the source of Truth.

(Psalm 121:1-2) I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help?
My help comes from the
Lord, Who made heaven and earth.

Many changes are needed in Israel as a state. Many needs are piling up while we are engaging in a war that was forced upon us by terrorists. At the same time, building and rebuilding, encouraging and welcoming a major Aliyah from abroad continues in full force, as much as the state is able. People here understand the immediate necessity for the Aliyah and for laws to allow it to all Jews from every background and country.

(Isaiah 11:12) He will set up a banner for the nations,
And will assemble the outcasts of Israel,
And gather together the dispersed of Judah
From the four corners of the earth.

We see it happening in front of our eyes, daily. There is no doubt that it is time for all of us to gather home. We are only saddened that the remnant is going through the hunters' season and many don't even realize it.

We call again, to the people of God, look at your life through heaven's eye. Judge your actions and thoughts by His standards. Are you where He wants you to be? I pray that you will follow God, daily.
