End
of January, already. Time is increasing its speed. I cannot understand how, but
times and events are moving forward faster than ever. Willie tells me that it
is written, that toward the end of the age, time will speed up.
I
completed the Canadian Income Tax Return and will mail it by this coming Sunday.
We are Israelis but since we get a partial pension from Canada, we fill out their
income tax forms yearly. I enjoy the yearly challenge. They made it simple and
easy for older folks.
We
are praying for a miracle to pay off the mortgage this year instead of 10 years
from now, so we will have the safety of a roof over our head. Continually, we
are trusting God for His provisions. With the dollar fluctuations downwards,
there is a sense of economic havoc which affects us in Israel even with the
shekel being stronger than ever.
2014
is proving to be an unusual year. With weather patterns that never seen prior
to now; tribal wars that we thought had passed hundreds of years ago, and
economic changes that seem to include all the former disasters in a single
year. Yet, Northern Israel has a sense of peace about it, as if we exist in the
eye of a storm.
Our
people are coming home. They fill up the streets with their foreign chatter and
the Land with joy. It is going to be a year of miracles, you can just tell…
31st
Day of Thanks - thank you God for the end of the first month of 2014. Thank you
for helping me to stay focused on praising you; focused on expecting your
miracles, and focused on your abundance of joy.
Keeping
focused on my Creator,
Orith
