Uneventful Day

Working mom…that is what I did most of my life. What I truly wanted was to be a stay-home-wife-and-mother. But life takes you …and you swim with it…

A working mother has many challenges that she learns to overcome, and dreams that might not ever become a reality. For me, the simplest of them never happened, until yesterday. I finely had my uneventful day.

Last night, as my head cold was getting the better of me and my eyes closed long before our regular bedtime, I realised that the day passed without an event. Nothing happened.

It was peaceful at home and in the country. We ate when we felt like eating and what we felt like munching on. We did not do any housework nor seen a need to do so. We talked a little, read a little, surf the net a little, and prayed a little. Nothing earth shaking, not in the least. A few friends touched base to see how we are doing and brought extra warmth to our hearts and then we retired to sleep.

A Day that was so uneventful that I waited till this morning to write about it.

27th day of thanks - thank you God for a peaceful, uneventful day; I longed for it for so many hectic years, it is nice to finely experience one.

Totally cool. I'm so glad G-d blessed you with finally realizing a dream. He keeps track of these things!
