THURSDAY – Day 12

We met angels today!
Returning from our clinic, laden with medications for a virus and infections that I had just discovered, we walked by the empty school behind our home. From kindergarten to university, kids are at home. They also closed the Heart Institute in the hospital where we volunteer. So we too have a day off.
Soldiers came toward us:
- Shalom! Why are you here?
- We are the rescue unit. We are based here for the duration of the war in case rescue is needed.
Wow. That is a favour of God.
So we took the “boss” with us to the apartment, told him about the area and gave him some things we collected for the soldiers on the fields. He will deliver them. I even got his number and name in case of emergencies. God, thank you for your angels, the ones we see and those we don't.
It is almost lunchtime, we are safe and at total peace.
