I went there a few times in my life with a sense of pride that there is peace on our border. For 30 years there was an assurance in my heart that the peace of King Solomon with his counterpart, Hiram Phoenician king of Tyre (989-936 BC) continues in modern Israel and this peace is strong. And the people of Lebanon were always friends until the Terrorists took over their government and their lives.

We've been praying for Lebanon for a very long time. This week a leader of one of our prayer groups received a direction from God to pray at a specific place and at a specific time for the peace between us and for the protection of the North Border. He and the group had no idea why that time and place.

Two days ago the current ruler of the government of Lebanon sent threats toward Israel. He mentioned that he would “attack tomorrow a horrible attack”. We are told that Lebanon has 150,000 rockets aimed at Israel's largest cities and their underground tunnel system is strong and far-reaching into Israeli settlements.

The prayer direction came from God before the specific threat.

This morning the group was up on the mountain at the specific spot at the appointed time praying and praising God. We joined them in praying and praising God in Nahariya. I did not hear “booms” today.

Praise God for His protection. I believe that He protects the IDF, the hostages, and the rest of Israel on the home front.
