Shabbat evening
Well, that's that. No one wants a peace agreement.
From Lebanon the shelling continued all day long, from around 07:00 or earlier this morning till about 18:00. We heard the airplanes roaring their engines through the sky rushing North to fight. The shelling, and maybe these were unknown aircraft, fell between the Mediterranean to the Golan Heights, right across the North border, corner to corner.
Meanwhile, our government seems to have returned to arguing about politics, and the Supreme Court negated all the attempts to change its behaviour and laws toward a more democratic solution in Israel.
In the evening, I read that Gaza published that they will not agree to a 'day after' with Israel's any kind of interference. They all back up October 7 and the atrocities of it and will not agree to any kind of negotiations. The reporter was not sure if the notice was published under the threat of Hamas or if it was their consensus of opinions. But whatever encouraged the main families and rulers of Gaza to back up Hamas' behaviour on October 7 and the continual war, seem to agree that they are behind the terrorist group in every way.
In Nahariya, we had a balmy day and none of the predicted rain. Birds chirped and people walked their dogs, and I just drank tea, prayed and read.
We are still waiting for hostages to arrive home while praying that they are still alive despite being in cages and the darkness, without air ventilation, food, and alone. We are still praying for the IDF to overcome and bring them home and return home safely as well.
Thank you for your prayer support.
Thank you for your financial and physical support as well. All monies and other items that you have passed to me went directly toward our soldiers as requested. It is getting cold in the North here, and it is harder to function in the fields, especially at night without proper covers.
May your blessings return to bless you many times over.

Still standing with Israel
IN SHADOWS
In the shadows of yesterdays
God brought us the light
in it we see His Victory
in it we are fed
we are free
stand firm
God brought us the light
to comfort us in dark times
like these.

Amen.
